By accessing or using RadioHear, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
RadioHear is an independent radio directory and discovery service. It indexes publicly available third-party radio station metadata and, where enabled, provides access to third-party streams.
When you press Play, your browser typically connects directly to the station's stream host using the stream URL in the RadioBrowser directory. In very few cases — for example, compatibility, security, abuse prevention, embed rendering, or metadata features — RadioHear may route requests through a relay or proxy service. Playback availability, stream quality, and station listings can change without notice. RadioHear is not a broadcaster and does not operate or control any listed station.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Station metadata — including names, stream URLs, tags, and location data — may be sourced from third-party datasets including the RadioBrowser database. The availability of this metadata does not constitute a license to the underlying audio content, station logos, trademarks, or any other intellectual property belonging to broadcasters or rights holders.
RadioHear does not guarantee that third-party metadata or streams are accurate, authorized, uninterrupted, or available in every country. RadioHear may disable, restrict, or remove listings at any time without prior notice. Except where RadioHear explicitly proxies a stream for compatibility, metadata, embeds, or similar in-product reasons, RadioHear does not host station audio; playback occurs from third-party stream servers. If a station has no logo available, RadioHear may display a generic, generated icon for UI purposes only; it does not represent the station's brand or identity.
Station descriptions and DJ commentary may be AI-generated or templated by the platform depending on feature availability. Content you create in Radio Studio and Journeys remains yours, but you grant us a license to display and distribute it when you publish or share it.
You may use RadioHear for personal, non-commercial listening and radio creation. You may not: reverse-engineer the platform, scrape or bulk-extract station data or stream URLs by automated means, redistribute audio streams without station owner permission, use the embed feature to misrepresent station content, or attempt to bypass territorial, playback, or station-requested restrictions.
If you embed a station player, you are responsible for ensuring you have any necessary rights or permissions to embed that station's stream on your site.
Listing a station on RadioHear does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation between RadioHear and the station or its operators. Station names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. RadioHear makes no claim of ownership over third-party station content.
RadioHear respects the rights of broadcasters, copyright owners, trademark holders, and related rights holders. If you are authorized to act for a station or rights holder and believe that a listing, stream, logo, or other material on RadioHear is unauthorized, inaccurate, or should not be available, please send a notice to legal@radiohear.com or submit it via our contact form at /contact, including:
1. Your name and contact information 2. The exact RadioHear station page URL 3. The exact stream URL or asset at issue 4. The basis of your request 5. Proof of your authority to act 6. The action you request (disable playback, remove or update stream URL, remove logo, correct metadata, geo-restrict, or remove listing)
RadioHear may disable playback, remove logos, correct metadata, geo-restrict access, or remove listings without prior notice while reviewing a notice. Submitting a notice does not guarantee a specific outcome.
Some streams may be unavailable or restricted based on geography, broadcaster rights, or station request. RadioHear may apply geo-restrictions or playback restrictions at any time without notice. We make no warranty that any particular stream is accessible or legal in your jurisdiction.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. To request account deletion or data removal, contact us directly until a self-serve deletion flow is available.
RadioHear is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RadioHear is not liable for: radio station availability or stream quality; content broadcast by third-party stations; claims arising from third-party stream authorization or licensing; logo or trademark disputes involving station owners; territorial availability of streams; or actions of station operators or broadcasters.
